Tamim is a dedicated urbanist with two decades of experience shaping the strategic agenda in cities. He brings leadership, vision and skill as a strategic planner and always maintains a keen focus on driving to long-term objectives.

Tamim has strong business and political acumen and is adept at advising executives, boards and elected officials to shepherd difficult decisions through their fiscal, community and political realities. He has a proven track record of successfully tackling the toughest of urban problems, while systematically and collaboratively working through complex stakeholder and decision environments to get to outcomes that work.

Tamim brings direct public agency experience and perspective to his advisory work. For more than 15 years he led and directed project planning for complex transit and transportation infrastructure at TransLink. Tamim has also been an instructor in Simon Fraser University’s City Program since 2002.
